Real Estate Law
Kristen received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Portland. Following her education at UP, Kristen worked in development and fundraising at William Temple House, a long-established Portland nonprofit social service and counseling agency. Kristen attended law school at the University of Oregon, where she was a Senior Associate Editor for Oregon Law Review, a tutor in the Legal Research & Writing program, and a member of the Law & Entrepreneurship Student Association. Kristen is a member of Francis Hansen & Martin’s business department. She focuses her practice in the areas of real property and business transactions, estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Kristen works closely with individuals and businesses in a wide range of business and real estate matters. She also helps clients to create their estate plans, address issues related to aging and disability, and manage the distribution of assets after a death. Kristen has been a board member for Volunteer Connect and a volunteer coach in youth volleyball programs in Portland and Bend.
Kristen played and coached NCAA volleyball for the University of Portland, and now she stays busy by running, skiing, hiking, backpacking, and cooking. After work, Kristen and her dog are usually found on nearby trails, paddling on the river, or listening to a baseball game and working in the back yard.
