Alison Huycke was also recently elected to the Board of Directors for Redmond Economic Development, Inc. (“REDI”) an organization devoted to encouraging economic development, investment and job growth in the Redmond area.

We are a proud supporter of the Tower Theater Foundation. FH & M partner Win Francis helped to create the Tower Foundation and has served on its board. He recently co-chaired a successful capital-building campaign. This year FH & M is once again the title sponsor of the Tower’s annual CenterStage concert series.

The attorneys of FH & M are also supporters of the Deschutes Basin Land Trust. FH & M partner Win Francis was a founder of the organization, and is currently involved in the campaign to raise funds to purchase important fish and wildlife habitat along Whychus Creek northeast of Sisters to celebrate the Land Trust’s 15th anniversary.

Francis Hansen & Martin LLP is a sponsor of the Deschutes Public Library Foundation’s A Novel Idea community reading program. Last year’s event brought Kathryn Stockett, author of the New York Times bestseller" The Help" to Bend and Redmond to read from her novel. The next A Novel Idea program will take place in April, 2011.

The Deschutes Public Library Foundation is dedicated to promoting childhood literacy and providing free cultural and literary programs for the Deschutes County community. FH & M partner Michael McGean serves as the chair of the Board of Directors for the Library Foundation.

We are also a sponsor and a supporter of the Bend Surgery Foundation and its mission of encouraging students from Central Oregon to pursue careers in healthcare by providing funding for educational opportunities. FH & M partner Alison Huycke serves on its Board of Directors.
