Professional Experience:
Andy C. Archer is a member of Francis Hansen & Martin’s litigation department. His practice focuses on general civil litigation. Andy also has a background in federal environmental litigation, water law, business law, and employment law. During law school at the University of Oregon School of Law, Andy was selected as the University’s Hans Linde Fellow, where his research examined the intersection of law and public policy related to Oregon’s groundwater resources. He also studied abroad in Spain and the Netherlands, engaging in interdisciplinary research on international approaches to drought management. Andy received the Excellence in Written Advocacy Award for his performance in the law school’s Legal Research and Writing program and graduated Order of the Coif for outstanding academic achievement.
Personal Background:
Andy grew up in Bend and feels fortunate to practice law in the community he calls home. Outside the office, he serves as vice president of the Southern Willamette Valley Trout Unlimited Chapter, where he works to protect and restore watersheds in Western Oregon. Andy also loves fly fishing, paddling, and skiing throughout Oregon and Northern California.
