Professional Experience

Ms. Bowman graduated from Southern Oregon University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Marketing and then in 2007 obtained an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal studies from Portland Community College.  After practicing in the area of family law and civil litigation as a paralegal for 18 years Ms. Bowman applied for and obtained her license to practice family law through the Oregon State Bar Licensed Paralegal program in 2025.

Ms. Bowman is a member of the Francis Hansen & Martin litigation department with a general practice that emphasizes civil litigation and all aspects of family law including divorce, legal separation, custody, parenting time, child support, and modifications.  Her years of legal practice include significant experience in:

• Drafting pleadings
• Attending and assisting at mediation and court proceedings
• Deposition and Trial preparations
• Legal Research
• Discovery organization and production
• Case strategy
• Working closely with clients on all aspects of their respective cases

Ms. Bowman is an active member of the National Association for Legal Support Professionals (NALS) through the local Central Oregon branch of the organization, Central Oregon Legal Professionals (COLP).

Personal Background

When Ms. Bowman is outside of the office, she enjoys line dancing, engaging in community service through COLP, hiking, paddle boarding, and spending time with family and friends.
